The Park City Fire District is committed to serving our community, in fact, it’s at the center of everything we do. Fire suppression, fire prevention, search and rescue, and emergency response are all direct services to the members our community and we are proud to provide them 24/7.
However, it doesn’t end there. Educating our locals on how to keep their homes safe, plan for natural disasters, or be ready for an emergency are all important to our core mission. Whether we’re visiting a local school, running a station tour, or hosting a BBQ for the 4th of July, the fire department loves working with our locals. We are here to protect and serve our community in every way possible, feel free to reach out to us at any time.
The PCFD proudly participates in various community and program events as well as offering station tours in all of our 7 stations.
Working with Local Children and Schools
One of our favorite activities when it comes to community outreach is talking to the kiddos. It’s incredibly important to educate our youngsters about fire prevention and life safety from an early age and we love to do so. Throughout the year, we hold special events at our stations and participate in events across town.
We invite our local schools and daycare centers to schedule a visit with us at any time. We’re always happy to show our trucks, and talk to the kids about the equipment we use and the ways in which they can stay safe.
